Wanderings in Seoul, Fall 2016

Seoul is big and hectic, but I love it! The Seoul Capital Area is one of the world’s largest urban areas, with 24 million people, while Seoul itself has a population of about 10 million people. Here’s what it looks like at night:

And here are a few glimpses of what you can see if you walk around this giant metropolis! There is some very interesting architecture, and a nice mix of modernity and traditions. People still sell fruits and vegetables on the sidewalk or from the back of a truck, yet the streets can look so modern! I love the beautiful gingko trees that turn yellow in the fall, and of course the food is amazing… Here are my pictures! 🙂
