Gyeongbok Palace, Seoul

Gyeongbokgung (Gyeongbok Palace) is the largest of five palaces in Seoul, South Korea. It was built over 600 years ago, as the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty. On Seollal, the first day of the lunar new year, admission was free so hundreds of people came to visit. The palace grounds are really large, much larger than I remembered from my first visit 20 years ago! I really like the architectural roof details.
